Our 8th graders were blessed with some amazing weather and an even better time at our annual Ropes Trip at Newks Ranch in New Braunfels. Our students participated in team building activities, an egg drop, and several challenges on the ropes course. We want to thank our BMSN PTO as their generous donations helps support our field trips and several other activities for our students.

Congratulations to Mrs. Marcell for being nominated Greyhound Teacher of the Quarter. Also, congrats to Mrs. Waite on being chosen as Newcomer of the Quarter. Both were picked by the BMSN student body for the first 9 weeks.  We want to thank them for their dedication to our students and community. We are proud they choose to be Greyhounds!

Mrs. Songco was awarded with Scooters Coffee for all her hard work and dedication to her students over the course of the last 9 weeks. Her and her students continue to set the bar for 7th grade math in BISD and we thank her for all her hard work and countless hours supporting her students.

Thank you to Scooter's Coffee for your sponsorship in this effort.

As families begin to make plans for the holidays, please review the timeline for the BISD Middle School Semester Exam Schedule. We want to provide you this as early as possible to help you as you make your travel arrangements.

Please plan for your student to be in class every day leading up to the exam day so they are prepared for their semester exams. The semester exam schedule is included for your reference. Students that are not available on the day of their exam are responsible for reaching out to the teacher to schedule time. Exams may not be taken outside of the exam window per BISD policy.

Please help us ensure students come to school dressed appropriately and in compliance with the campus dress code. Clothing should be an appropriate length and fit, and undergarments should not be visible.

Students who are out of dress code may be required to change into school-provided sweats or a school shirt before returning to class.
