Principal's Weekly Message

Welcome to this week's edition of the Boerne Middle School North Newsletter!

We had another busy week here at North. Our football teams wrapped up their seasons on Tuesday with three big wins. Congrats to all involved for their dedication and hard work all season.

Orchestra put on a great concert and show for their first show of the year on Thursday night at BHS. Great job Orchestra.

Finally, we had a blast with all our Spirit Days for Homecoming Week. From Adam Sandler renditions to Dynamic Duos to the amazing mums, it was a great week.

We have a fun filled week coming up as we have Red Ribbon Week kicking off. See the flyer below to participate in the spirit days (sorry parents, we know two weeks of spirit days is a lot).

Band will host their first concert of the season on Monday evening. Show will take place in our Spec Gym at 6pm.

Thriller in the Park which is our annual BISD Theatre joint performance will take place on Tuesday evening at CHS stadium.

Lastly, our Halloween dance hosted by the Shining Stars will take place on Friday evening from 6-8pm in our cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at Lunch Tuesday through Thursday.

We hope to see you all at the game and Go Hounds!

Have a great weekend!

With gratitude,
Garrett Carr

Dia De Los Muertos

We would like to let you know that our Altar de Muertos, or Day of the Dead Altar, is in the front foyer of our school. Día de Los Muertos is a special Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away.
Everyone is invited to bring a picture of a loved one or a beloved pet they would like to remember and place it on our altar. We kindly ask all students to be respectful of the altar and the pictures displayed, as each one represents someone very special to a person or family in our school community. Let’s come together to honor their memories, celebrate their lives, and keep them alive in our hearts.

7th Grade Chaperones Needed

We still need chaperones for our 7th Grade Field Trip to the Alamo on Monday, November 17th!

If your student is scheduled to attend on Monday the 17th and you'd like to volunteer, please email Tiffany.Boerner@boerneisd.net.

BMSN is excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week, October 26–30! Throughout the week, students are encouraged to participate in our fun dress-up days as we promote healthy habits, positive decision-making, and a drug-free lifestyle.

Our counseling team will also host grade-level class meetings focused on “Making Informed Choices.” These conversations will encourage students to think critically, consider the consequences of their decisions, navigate peer pressure, and make choices that support their well-being and future success.

Class Meeting Schedule:
  • 6th Grade: Tuesday, October 27
  • 7th Grade: Wednesday, October 28
  • 8th Grade: Thursday, October 29

We look forward to a fun and meaningful week celebrating healthy choices and encouraging our Greyhounds to make positive decisions! 💜
