Principal's Weekly Message

Welcome to this week's edition of the Boerne Middle School North Newsletter!

We had a fantastic Red Ribbon Week here at North! From Western Day to Anything But a Backpack Day and Neon Day, our students showed incredible school spirit while celebrating their commitment to living drug-free. Our band kicked off the week with an outstanding concert on Monday evening. The spooky tunes were a hit, and the costumes were fantastic! Soccer tryouts have wrapped up, and our Greyhounds are ready to take the pitch next Thursday as they kick off their seasons against Voss. Today was Chick-fil-A Day, always a campus favorite! A huge thank you to our PTO for their continued hard work, support, and commitment to making North a great place to be. We hope to see everyone at tonight’s Halloween Dance, hosted by our amazing Shining Stars! Have a safe and happy Halloween weekend, and we’ll see everyone back at North next week!

Have a great weekend!

With gratitude,
Garrett Carr

Dia De Los Muertos

We would like to let you know that our Altar de Muertos, or Day of the Dead Altar, is in the front foyer of our school. Día de Los Muertos is a special Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away.
Everyone is invited to bring a picture of a loved one or a beloved pet they would like to remember and place it on our altar. We kindly ask all students to be respectful of the altar and the pictures displayed, as each one represents someone very special to a person or family in our school community. Let’s come together to honor their memories, celebrate their lives, and keep them alive in our hearts.

Top Dog

Our BMSN Top Dog program celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding ethical leadership and personal integrity. These Greyhounds lead by example, make positive choices, show kindness and respect, and positively impact those around them. Students are nominated by teachers and recognized for the difference they make in our school community. We are proud to celebrate our Top Dogs for showing what it means to be a BMSN Greyhound!
